This year at Øredev… (2010)

What cools stuff will take place at Øredev this year? Here is my list – in no particular order!

I guess it’s about time for this year’s Øredev pitch from my blog. Those who read know I am very involved in the Øredev conference.

  • We will have a community evening known as Øredev Open when  local community members will be able to come in for free if their community is organizing something at the event. Swenug Skåne will have an event and I will very soon announce at our community site.
  • Vittori Bertocci is coming to speak about Windows Identity Foundation. He is one of my favorite speakers and a hero of mine!
  • Microsoft is one of the two biggest sponsors!
  • Glenn Block is BACK at Øredev! WooHoo – good friend of mine and a great speaker!
  • We have a new venue; Even closer to the city than before and closet to the all important…
  • Evening pubs are a blast always!
  • There is a Patterns & Practices track! (see the Scheculer)
  • We will announce really cool applications (I think – at least according to the buzz – I’m not an app developer).
  • We have an Xtra(ck) – extra track for “other content” that is still important.
  • Nolan Bushnell is a key note speaker: ATARI – need I say more?
  • A couple of KINGS of Silverlight and WP7 are coming: Tim Heuer and Jeff Wilcox!
  • And lots lots more…

AND we’re gonna be SOLD OUT this year mark my words – so hurry up to grab those last few seats! Øredev 2010 will be crammed with brain power and willingness to Share Knowledge same as always. Will your brain be there too?

Cheers,

M.
