Tomorrow the journey begins once again: It is time to cross the Atlantic once more for this Swede heading for a major conference in the U.S!
And it’s not just any conference – It’s the PDC baby! ;~) L.A. here I come!
I will be blogging here (blog.noop.se) and here blog.dotway.se
I will be twitting here: twitter.com/noopman
I will bring to you my reviews of the sessions I attend.
I will recommend what sessions you should take your valuable time to look at.
I will meet and greet with a whole bunch of speakers that are also speaking next month at Øredev 2008.
and…
I will have a GREAT time!
Here is a preliminary of sessions I am looking to catch:
- "Oslo": The Language
- A Day in the Life of a Cloud Service Developer
- A Lap around "Oslo"
- Architecture without Big Design Up Front
- ASP.NET 4.0 Roadmap
- Developing and Deploying Your First Cloud Service
- Entity Framework Futures
- Identity Roadmap for Software + Services
- Identity: Connecting Active Directory to Microsoft Services
- Identity: Windows CardSpace "Geneva" Under the Hood
- Live Services: A Lap Around the Live Framework and Mesh Services
- Managed Extensibility Framework: Overview
- Microsoft .NET Framework: CLR Futures
- Panel: The Future of Programming Languages
- Parallel Symposium: Addressing the Hard Problems with Concurrency
- Services Symposium: Expanding Applications to the Cloud
- The Future of C#
- WCF: Developing RESTful Services
- Windows 7: Design Principles for Windows 7
Some of these sessions collide so I won’t be able to attend them all. Some changes will surely be made to what I attend an not.
You can check out all sessions and more in the PDC08 session schedule or download the PDC2008 Master Session list pdf.
Oh – almost forgot; I am also attending pre-conf to Capture the brain power early as one of the many conference badges says:
The pre-conf session I finally settled for, would have wanted to go to almost all of them was; Performance by design using the .NET Framework. Should be really interesting!
Anyway… guess I’ve said what I wanted to say for now… I’ll be back with reports all week!
Cheers,
M.
